Uukha Generation 5

At the end of 2020, Uukha announced the fourth generation of limbs for the 2021 model year - the highlight at the time was the brand new S-Curve profile. With the 2025 model year, the manufacturer has now launched the fifth generation of limbs, affectionately known as the U5.

The striking feature is the consistent line: there are three different limbs for the target range as well as three from the Nature series, which are typically found on hunting recurves. The top model (Omega resp. Altan) consists of 100% Monolith Carbon, the middle series (Sigma resp. Mazalaai) of 90% and the entry-level series (Alpha resp. Yangi) contains 70% Monolith Carbon. The remaining 10% or 30% are made of high-quality fiberglass. All limbs have the characteristic of having the most linear draw possible, so that they can be drawn incredibly smoothly and evenly. This can be felt by every shooter, regardless of their level.

The Target limbs are based on a 25” riser and are available in 2-pound increments, while the Nature line is sized at 19‘’ (in terms of bow length and draw weight) and stepped in 5-pound increments.

The limbs are developed, designed and manufactured in France. There is only one design line as far as the imprint is concerned and the elegant look makes every heart beat faster. So far, the performance is beyond any doubt and it is clear that the market is already keen on this new limb series.
